
About Me
Enid Otero Aguilar is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor (CPCS), in the state of Georgia, with many years of experience in providing compassionate, evidence-based therapy. Originally from Puerto Rico, Enid is bilingual in both English and Spanish, offering a culturally inclusive approach to counseling. She holds a Master’s in Community Counseling and has been dedicated to helping individuals navigate life's challenges since 2013.
Enid specializes in treating individuals with OCD and anxiety-related disorders, depression, ADHD, trauma, and those navigating significant life changes. With extensive experience working in higher levels of care, including community settings, Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP), Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), Residential Treatment, and even within hospital Emergency Departments, Enid brings a well-rounded, holistic approach to her practice.
Using a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Enid works collaboratively with clients to build resilience, improve emotional regulation, and create lasting positive change. She creates an empathetic, judgment-free environment, offering therapy through a telehealth platform to ensure accessibility and comfort for her clients.
As a new supervisor, Enid has a deep commitment to the growth and development of emerging mental health professionals. Enid likes to foster a collaborative, strengths-based supervision environment that fosters clinical skill-building, cultural competence, and ethical decision-making. She also believes in the importance of self-care and self-compassion to avoid burn out.
